MISSION

The Hemp Museum is a meeting place for the exchange of practices and transmission of skills. Textile production is the focus of the museum experience creating opportunities for dialogue between institutions, students, museum experts, holders of the local tradition and weaving apprentices.

Through practice and creative reflection on weaving, the museum tells the history of the territory through the cultural interpretations of hemp.

The museum collects traces of material culture, multimedia testimonies, stories and interpretations of hemp in various contexts. Our installations invite our guests to discover the relationship between objects and their functions, decoding and linking patterns of action and thought.
